How to Install default-jdk software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

default-jdk software package provides Standard Java or Java compatible Development Kit, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install default-jdk 

default-jdk is installed in your system.

Make ensure the default-jdk package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep default-jdk *

You will get with default-jdk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
